R only offers a package for importing .xls files, but any method for exporting to .xls files is never seen before.

A makeshift way is to export to .csv or .txt, Excel also supports these formats, so you can open them directly.


R is relatively bad for supporting these peripheral functions. If you want to deal with .xls files and perform relevant computing, Python or esProc is more convenient
